    Handling

    The goal of this activity is to make the information status required for the realization of the tasks available. This has to be done periodically or according to the individual information requirements and the individual requirements offered.

    Within the scope of the information service both customer and project members are kept informed about the project. The project management thus acts as the information interface of the project and keeps in touch with staff members, customer, users and possibly the subcontractors.

    The information service includes:

    Depending on the development course and the contracts, the reports defined in the Project Plan have to be generated within the scope of reporting.

    Recommendation

    A presentation of the achieved results should not only take place at the time the project has been completed, but also after decisive activities have been completed, i. e. at defined milestones in order to include users and customer continuously into the project early enough.

    The project management can realize this activity itself or it might delegate it to those in charge of SD or QA activities.
