Among the CM services are all those activities of the CM that have to be realized as project services at intervals, when required, or at instigation.
This includes the following activities:
- CM4.1 - Data Administration, which has the goal of setting up a central or company-wide data dictionary with consistent, uniform data definitions,
- CM4.2 - Cataloging of SW/HW Products, which wants to make it possible to reuse products,
- CM4.3 - Interface Coordination, which has the goal of maintaining interfaces compatible and of preventing technical interfaces that were changed one-sidedly,
- CM4.4 - Data Backup, which has the goal of maintaining the achieved project status,
- CM4.5 - Update of CM Documentation, for the generation of detailed reports and overviews of various CM topics,
- CM4.6 - Release Management, for the controlled release and distribution of configurations,
- CM4.7 - Recording Project History, which has the goal of generating a comprehensive, reconstructable documentation for the entire project.
