    Handling

    Activity CM 4.2 "Cataloging of SW/HW Products" accepts products newly created in the project on the basis of criteria and characteristics which facilitate later reuse in a central product catalog. The products have to be entered into the catalog in such a way that the catalog can be evaluated according to various product requirements.

    Furthermore, the activity must react to inquiries for making available possible product candidates to be reused in a project. The inquiries may point to the various constellations of the product characteristics, like range of function, quality criteria, programming language, interface connection, and implementation technique.

    Explanation

    A reuse is not limited to SD products; other products or extracts thereof are also suitable (e. g. a list of assessment criteria, layout definitions for uniform document presentation).
