    Handling

    * Generation of the Assessment Requirements

    The assessment requirements for each object to be assessed in the Assessment Plan have to be determined. Where it is relevant, the relation between the assessment requirements and the requirements documents has to be described.

    * Determination of Assessment Methods

    The assessment methods for each object to be assessed in the Assessment Plan must be determined. For System, Segment, SW Unit/HW Unit, SW Component, SW Module, and Database the assessment method is derived from the criticality/methods matrix (see Table SSA.4: Example of a Criticality/Methods Matrix) which is contained in the QA Plan, and also on the basis of the Criticality defined for the functional unit.

    * Definition of Assessment Criteria

    The assessment criteria must be defined in such a way that an assessment with regard to its successful and adequate execution can be judged.
