8.3.2 Assessment Plan (AsPl) |
|
Prüfplan
The Assessment Plan defines the objects to be assessed as well as the tasks and responsibilities of the assessments, the planning schedule, and the resources required for the realization. The Assessment Plan determines the state in which products and activities have to be assessed, also when, by whom, and by what means they have to be assessed.
Either an Assessment Plan binding for all assessments and oriented on the actual project situation is generated or, for practical reasons, the Assessment Plans are separated physically into several plans comprising subsets of the assessments. Such a partitioning might be realized on the basis of subprojects or reference products (System, Segment, SW Unit/HW Unit).
1. General Information
2. Objects to be Assessed and Qualification Requirements
3. Tasks and Responsibilities
4. Time Schedule
5. Resources
5.1. Assessment Environment
5.2. Further Resources
See schema 1. General Information.
The objects to be assessed in an assessment by QA are stated in their concrete instantiation, and the corresponding quality requirements will be described. The assessed objects are:
- User Requirements
- Technical Requirements
- System Architecture
- SW Architecture
- HW Architecture
- Interface Overview
- Interface Description
- Integration Plan
- Operational Information:
(Information for the User Manual, Information for the Diagnosis Manual, Information for the Operator Manual and Other Application Information)
- System (assessment of the integrated, executable product and the interfaces between Segments or possibly SW Units/HW Units and to the system environment)
- Segment (assessment of the integrated, executable product and the interfaces between SW Unit and HW Unit and to the user)
- SW Unit (assessment of the integrated, executable product and the interfaces between SW Components, SW Modules and Databases)
- HW Unit (assessment of the integrated, executable product, the interfaces, and possibly individual HW Components and HW Modules)
- SW Design (for each SW Component, each SW Module, each Database)
- Data-Dictionary
- Implementation Documents:
(for each SW Units, each SW Component, each SW Module, each Database)
- SW Component (assessment of the integrated, executable product and the interfaces between integrated SW Components, SW Modules and Databases)
- SW Module
- Database
- Engineering Drawing Set
- Realization Documents
Furthermore, based on strict quality requirements it might also be necessary to set up assessments for the following objects to be assessed:
The identification of the objects to be assessed (System, Segments, SW Units/HW Units, SW Components, Databases, and documents) is performed according to the conventions set up in the CM Plan.
The content of this structural item is not redundant to the item Products to be Assessed of the QA Plan. In that plan the products are identified based on their neutral names, e. g. SW Architecture; in this case, however, they have to be made concrete for the project (e. g. SW Design (Module) for the SW Module "logarithm calculation").
For each organizational unit involved in the assessment (mentioned in the QA Plan) the responsibility with regard to the assessment will be briefly described. It is thereby differentiated between executing, cooperating, advising, or controlling participation. Furthermore, the individual assessments are allocated to persons who are mentioned by name.
In the cases of assessing the products SW Unit or HW Unit, Segment and System, this item is closely connected with the corresponding structural item of the product Integration Plan.
The actual SW lifecycle with its baselines and the marginal conditions for the development determine the chronological order of the assessments. This chapter has to include the dates for the preparation and execution of the above mentioned objects to be assessed and for the phase reviews' preparations.
In the cases of assessing the products SW Unit or HW Unit, Segment and System, this item is closely connected with the corresponding structural item of the product Integration Plan.
This describes the assessment environment required for the assessment. Should an assessment environment already exist, it must be uniquely identified with its HW items (devices, analyzers, monitors, testrigs, etc.) and SW items (system software, firmware, simulators, test data generators, test drivers, stubs, etc.); otherwise the requirements for this environment have to be defined.
Resources required in addition for individual assessments (IT resources, on-the-job infrastructure, means of work) must be listed, together with individual details as to when and to what extent the resources have to be available.
