    Handling

    The definition of the assessment environment and of all other required resources have to be made based on the assessment requirements, assessment methods and assessment criteria. If the required assessment environment already exists, the SW and HW items and their corresponding configuration identification are to be clearly identified; otherwise the requirements for the assessment environment are to be defined.

    In case the assessment environment is identical with the integration environment, the SW assessments must be coordinated with the HW assessments.

    The Assessment Plan is agreed on and accepted by the QA Manager and the project management.

    Recommendation

    Requirements for proof activities for SW Modules, Databases, Components, SW Units/HW Units, interfaces, Segments, and the System have to be specified in detail.
