Figure 5.4: QA1 - QA Initialization
QA Initialization is the first QA-related, independent activity of a project (cf. cooperation in Project Manual generation). It is to specify the organizational and procedural framework of the activity within the scope of QA. All specifications-valid for the whole project-with regard to prevention (means for reaching desired quality, prevention of quality risks) and the proof activities (actual achievement of quality requirements) are laid down in the QA Plan, while the individual specifications of the objects to be assessed, tasks and responsibilities as well as the chronological schedule of the assessments are set out during the assessment planning.
