In this activity, software-related improvements to the existing/available source code is realized on the basis of subproduct User Demand.Possible Solutions. In this connection, the improvements may include the sequence and data structures as well as the layout. Before and after the realization of improvements, the source code is measured by means of software measures in order to prove the success of the realized improvements. Implementation Documents (SW Modules and Databases) are generated for the modified, improved code. On top of that, and on the basis of the measurement results, all those SW items will be specified that are to be reused or correspondingly redeveloped in a subsequent forward engineering measure.
