    Handling

Incoming Change Requests/Problem Reports have to be evaluated; in some cases a Change Proposal has to be set up.

The following roles participate in the evaluation of the change:

The role in charge for generation of the Change Proposal depends on the product(s) to be changed:

    SD products arrow SD roles
    PM products arrow PM roles
    QA products arrow QA roles
    CM products arrow CM roles

All those investigations which are realized within the scope of realizing the Change Proposal are outside submodel CM.

    Recommendation

In case the Change Request/Problem Report indicates an error, an analysis might take place in the various assessment environments. Starting in the assessment environment of the system the analysis proceeds in the opposite direction to integration in order to further locate the respective places to be changed. Required for a meaningful analysis is a Change Request/Problem Report with exact information.
