Synonym: Activity Type

In the course of a real project various activities in the V-Model are executed several times ( e. g. for each individual SW Component, SW Module, etc.). These activities are only described once in the V-Model, i. e. as so-called "activity classes" or "generic activities". An activity that has actually been executed is called an instance of the (generic) activity.

Note: All activities of the V-Model are generic activities ( i. e. elements of an activity class), even if there are some activities that are only carried out once ( e. g. SD1, QA1, CM1, PM1).

Other Languages

German: Aktivitätenklasse
