| Definition/ Use |
SW Modules are the smallest programmable software components in a SW Unit; the V-Model includes the regulation of software modules.
Note 1:The V-Model does not refer to the technical content of a SW Module. It is supposed that a SW Module is created on the basis of the following criteria: completeness, confidentiality princople, data abstraction, encapsulation, interface specification, interface minimality, distinctness, testability, etc. Note 2:For the implementation of SW Modules, the programming language Ada offers the package concept (subprograms or tasks may, of course, be used as well). |
