    Handling

    For the Integration Plan, regulations and procedures for the assembly of the SW Unit made up of SW SW Components, and the SW Components in turn made up of SW Modules and Databases, must be regulated from a technical point of view. The Integration Plan must be generated with regard to deadlines, resources, tools, personnel, Off-the-shelf-products, interfaces, and other similar influences, and in cooperation with the project management. Configuration of the SW Unit and all information pertinent for the integration activity have to be established in the Integration Plan; information for the integration test must be derived and documented.

    The tasks in connection with the Integration Plan also yield further details for the Operational Information. The Information for the Operator Manual and the Information for the Diagnosis Manual have to be updated; in particular the information with regard to the availability of the facility and the environment components as well as the start and end of operation will be completed. In Other Application Information all those particularities must be documented that refer to installation and configuration. The present Interface Description yields clues for the refinement of the Information for the User Manual.

    Notes:

    (1) Method NPT is to be applied if very complex call and integration relations among the functional units have to be taken into consideration which in particular break through the hierarchical top-down or botteom-down relations several times; otherwise method BAR is to be applied.

    (2) Method DTAB is to be applied for the description of complex facts and circumstances.
