| Definition/ Use |
HW Modules are the smallest components in a HW Unit. The way they are handled is regulated by the V-model. Note: The term was defined in accordance with definitions of SW Module. HW Modules can be distinguished from HW devices (lowest consideration level; not regulated by the V-model) because they are actually processed within the scope of a development, i. e. they are having processing states "planned", "being processed", "submitted", "accepted", according to the V-Model. |
