    Handling

    This activity restores the internal and external system interfaces, by using the information from product User Demand and on the basis of further information (at best existing configuration documents), the Implementation Document: Module, Implementation Document: Database and the System Architecture described in the preceding subactivity. Since the introduction of segments was dispensed with, the interfaces between SW Units, HW Units, and non-IT portions are described as internal system interfaces.

    The external system interfaces are the interfaces between the system and its environment, i. e. to the user and to other systems.

    The results of this activity are documented in subproduct System Architecture.System Structure and in the products Interface Overview and Interface Description .
