1 Characterization of the Interface
DNAV is used to analyze the order, frequency, and mode (reading, writing, updating) of the data accesses to the E/R model in the applications. The results are utilized to generate logical schema specifications. The most frequent access sequences in the application are usually realized by means of programs (modules). Mode and order of the data accesses within the logic operation represented with the help of PCODE - Pseudocode must correspond to the results of the DNAV - Data Navigation Modeling method. The following example illustrates the facts.
