| Definition/ Use |
Before a (generic) activity described in the V-Model is executed it must be instantiated. The result of the instantiation is the instance. An instance is the actual relation between an activity and a certain object ( e. g. SW Module, SW Component).
The above mentioned is also true for products.
Note: In the case where three SW Units are identified in activity SD2 - System Design, the activity SD3 - SW/HW Requirements Analysis must be instantiated three times (once for each SW Unit). |
