		2 Overview

This chapter contains the allocation matrices of basic methods and categories of methods of the Methods Standard for products and activities of the V-Model as well as an overview of limitations with regard to the application of basic methods and categories of methods.

The following nomenclature is applied in the matrices:

• G
  The method contributes to generate a product (in the case of activity allocation: contribution to generate a product within the scope of the realization of the activity).
• A
  The method is applied for the assessment or the preparation of an assessment of a product or an activity.
