    Annex 1 is meant to support the work with the Methods Standard in form of explanations and application notes.

    Therefore, it is not of binding nature.

    The explanatory part in form of a separate annex makes it possible to keep the actual Methods Standard shorter and more clearly arranged.

    The following subjects are handled in Annex 1:

    The methods are assigned to the V-model activities and products in the chapter 2 Overview.

    The 3 Explanations of the Methods describe methodical aspects going beyond the definitions of the Methods Standard.

    Chapter 4 Explanations of the Methods Interfaces contains a detailed description of the interfaces between basic methods listed in the Methods Standard.

    Chapter 5 Explanations of the Categories of Methods contains a description of the individual applicable methods of the categories of methods listed in the Methods Standard.
