2 Brief Characteristic of the Method
The basis of the time-controlled simulation is that the simulation time is increased by one constant time increment at each simulation step. After each time increment, the state changes occurred during the last time interval are realized.
The time-controlled simulation is particularly appropriate if it is difficult to allocate the state changes realized during a time interval to individual events. One disadvantage is that the simulation clock must be increased, even for lengthy idle times.
