PADM is being developed by the Informatics Process Group at Manchester University to provide a total methodology for the acquisition, definition and enactment of software process models. This is based on both a specification method, called the Base Model (BM), and Process Wise Integrator (PWI). BM provides constructs to specify single and composed objects. The PWI-PML encompasses six aspects: concurrent threads of execution, dynamic thread creation, subtyping, persistence, user interface, and application interface.
