The Labyrinth project aims at superimposing semantics to sets of Web resources (i.e., files and links) without resorting to databases or other systems, but just using Web technologies (HTTP, HTML, Java, etc.).
In particular, in Labyrinth every Web resource (web page, document, image, etc. and links among them) is considered as an instance of an Entity or Relationship in an E/R schema, which is represented as a Web resource itself.
Labyrinth provides an infrastructure that enables users and applications to manage data consistently with a schema.
