The ISO 9001-3 standard is a part of the ISO 9000 series. This standard sets out guidelines to facilitate the application of the ISO 9001 /ISO 9001, 1994/ to organizations developing supplying and maintaining software.
It is intended to provide guidance where a contract between two parties requires the demonstration of a supplier's capability to develop, supply and maintain software products.
At the present (May/2000), this standard cannot be accessed online. Meanwhile it is only possible to access the ISO catalogue. However, some other ISO standards are available as electronic products at the local ISO member.
