Laszlo A. (Les) Belady served as the executive director of the Austin Technology Council from March 1999 to March 2000. 
Prior to this, he was chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Information Technology Center America. In 1984, Belady 
was a founding vice president responsible for the software division of MCC (Microelectronics and Computer Technology 
Corporation) and held research and management positions over a span of 23 years at IBM, including director of software 
technology at IBM’s corporate headquarters.
