| Definition/ Use |
Describing a process means making the software process explicit. This involves modelling the actual software process, using an appropriate process modelling methodology. In this modelling effort, we need to consider aspects of the scale of the process model, the fact of evolution of the model, and the scale and evolution of the software products built using the implied process. The central part of such a methodology that deals with the design of a process models needs to address the formalisms which may be used to represent process models. |
