Methods and Techniques aimed at reducing the presence (number and seriousness) of faults. Composed of 3 steps: verification, diagnosis and correction. Verification is the process of checking whether the systems adheres to properties, termed the verification conditions which can be done statically or dynamically. Diagnosis will be taken whenever the system does not succeed in verification step. Correction should be then performed to fulfill verification conditions. |
